USA Size (Inch)
This print is a vibrant image showing a face and its sense organs. The original artwork is called "Be'er Shevah" or "The Well of the Seven Doorways". From the human perspective, the head has 7 entries: two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and one mouth. Through these entrances, most of our human experiences are created. In daily life, we can easily make the mistake of taking those fleeting experiences for very "real" and "personal", not seeing them for what they really are: a transient flow of experiences . With this artwork, I wanted to show the confusion which can arise from when the Ego interprets those experiences in the wrong way.
Background
The original painting "Be'er Shevah" is 30x40 cm (12" x 16") done with acrylic paint on a canvas. The painting is inspired by a dream and a Kabbalistic teaching.
